This is my favorite type of knife for an athame, elegant with clean lines. The handle is shaped from polished natural wood that has been stained a rich brown with the graining showing as a darker brown, its neutral tones a wonderful background for any painting or light carving you might want to add: to mark the knife for a specific purpose, to add symbols, or for you to personalize in some other way. Both pommel and quillions are made of solid brass. Following traditional form, the blade is double edged. It is crafted from stainless steel, a material that needs little maintenance. The knife measures 10 inches in total length. Knife comes with a well made brown leather sheath. These are new, with no problems.
